1.1 The Product and Service

Little Party Stars is a business that providing kids with education and entertainment. The products services offered will be divided into five packages. The products offered by package 1 will be Safety mats and ball pond and balls. Package 2 products services offered will be safety mats, ball pond and, balls, set of 6 shapes, colored dice x2, animal rockers x3, giant snail, circus tent, small double rocker, plus little Twinklets of your choice. Package 3 products will be safety mats, ball pond and balls, set of 6 shapes, colored dice x2, animal rockers x3, giant snail, circus tent, block, and slide little, Twinklets of your choice. Package 4 products will be safety mats, ball pond and balls, set of 6 shapes, colored dice x2, animal rockers x3, giant snail, circus tent, an elephant slide, plus little Twinklets of your choice. Finally, the package offered that will be offered by the company will require safety mats, ball pond, and balls, 3 shapes, colored dice x2, animal rockers x2, + 3 little Twinklets of your choice. The reasons why the packages are segregated is due to their inclusions as well as the difference in prices. Packages 1 to 4 will cost £95 to hire for 2 hours. Package 6 will cost 7 for 3 hours and it is a Facebook offer only. Each additional hour for all the packages will cost 25 pounds. While booking, customers will be required to pay 50-pound damages deposit. All payable in cash

1.2 The Market

Little Party Stars activities will be focused around children. Based on the Greater London authority update on birth trends in London we found a that the inner London boroughs have a low level of children on roll of reception in the years 2014-15 then Outer London boroughs as well it can be seen that northeast and east boroughs present an increase in numbers of births in the year 2015 and based on the mid-year report of the ONS a raising pattern in all outer boroughs, we aim for the northeast regional London market as the children are now of the minim age required for the companies’ operation.( Data.london.gov.uk, 2017)

One worrying point in children at a young age is Obesity with an alarmingly rising level for children starting primary school. A report presented by the NHS discovered that an alarming quarter of reception aged children are overweight including obese. (Digital. Nhs.uk, 2017) Parents are, therefore being encouraged to push their kids towards outdoors play. However, with the need to be protective, parents would rather be around to watch their children play. Theme parks have therefore provided a win-win situation whereby children can go and play outside and they can watch them and even join them in some games. The demand for theme parks have, therefore been on the increase as it has provided the best alternative for kids to have fun. Little Party stars are combining the amusement of theme parks and the joy of education in an entertainment program.

1.3 Management / The Team

Initially up to the 4th year the 4 students will act as owners/operators/managers. If a shortage of cash flow or a breach in service is identified, a full-time manager will be put in to action to work alongside the 4 students and will be liable of all aspects regarding: Deposits, Marketing, Safety, Scheduling, Customer service and employee support and training.

Based on the hour’s operation hours the company will employ 3 full time staff one of which will be a full-time consultant with 5 years of experience in child education.

Part time staff will be arranged as per necessity and the company will look in to establish business to business connections with work placement agencies.

Further we will establish the payroll plan which can be found in the appendix 4.
