The internet - A positive or a negative thing

The internet represents more that a giant computer network.

It is a network of networks (comercials, military, academical, universitary and economical), more than that is a giant informational place that offers services and resources from different data bases.

An easy definition for the internet can be: a very big number of computers spreaded all over the world. The servecises of the internet are being used for about 400 million people. In stead of asking us if the internet is good or not I think the suited thing is to begin to capitalize his advantage like others have did it.

Today many others couldn't imagine life without the internet because threw him we communicate easier, and we have fun in a world witch the most important sound became the click of the mouse.

Internet fallowed the path of all great inventions- at the beginning all wondered what he will do for us. At the beginning he was used for entertainment. In 1974 in U.S.A was born the internet as a network of network's once with establishing of a transfer protocol-meaning a way of connecting diferent networks The one's who established was Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn and named it T.C.P ( Transmission Control Protocol).

The internet as you know it, it has only eleven years old. In this interval engines of searching of million of sites existing today have evolved concomitant, with new ways of communicating life e-mail or chat and attached to computer accessories.

The internet is not just a simple and fast way to communicate but a revolutionary system that has reinvented the way of thinking the business, the education, the administration etc.

On the internet you can search for a book or you can make a plane reservation, check the weather: see the latest news, you interest of the course of shares you have and you can sell or buy shares, you can publish free your advertising or you can make your shopping's on-line: books, music, computers and why not a car.

Interactions of services make from the internet the perfect environment for the extension of some busineses witch at the first right don't have anything in common with the internet.

The internet has created new oportunities, and the busineses ar developing in an outs tuning rhythm. According to the WIRED.com magazine, in the first 6 months of the year 2004, the economy of the internet has created 861000 new work places and now it has over 3 million employees.

The internet really changes the way the business are going.

The internet has many advantages so very many teenagers use the internet because on it they can find in very short time and with the help of programs available pages with information's regarding of a subject you want.

With the help of the internet:

-you can speak with your friends that are very far away:

-you can get new information's about movie stars, new games, songs of singers;

-you can find out details about new movies, songs, etc.

-you can write to your favorite star national or international;

-you can see a event witch you couldn't take part (ex: the wedding of an friend broadcast on the internet);

-you can see the result of your exam you have taken it if you can't go to the institution where you had your exam;

-you can choose your secondary school you want to follow finding out information's on the internet;

-you can find offers about the place you want to spend your holiday (in your country or other country).

The most important advantage in using the internet is the comfort.

As a fallowing of development the internet showed up the necessity of transmitting electronic documents.

The internet allows every site to be protected because the access on the site is using a special name and a password. The most beautiful thing in using the internet is the fact you can know a lot of people you can band friendship. The internet is used by the persons with problems. The most important case is the flooding in our country witch destroyed hundred's of homes. A lot of people found out about this on the internet and helped the needed ones.

There also are some negative effects of the internet:

-the risk of being your computer infected with one ore more viruses. If you know to use the computer and you have some experience in the domain is very less probably to happen this thing.

-the teenagers usually get dependents of the internet and they are not interested of anything's else except the computer

-because of the internet there is a very big chance to see that your credit card is empty without it even 1 time;

-young people with big imagination and with have some experience in using the internet can make a lot of harm to public persons threw the internet.

The internet presents advantages but also disadvantages the most of the teenagers spend 70% of the free time in the internet cafe. The parent's should be more severs with their children because the shouldn't lose their nights in the chat rooms on the internet and abandon their school.

So if you take measures your child can use the internet without being ``dependent``, and he can understand that the internet brings only benefits if it is used life you should to.

The teenagers think that the internet has changed they're life style.

Today the world of interconnecting became the word we know today. In this way the networks of network became a place very crowded.

Today one in ten people have access at the internet.

My opinion is that the internet is a positive thing that helps the people very much in a very many domains.
