In this essay, I will compare two brands that compete in automotive industry. Their products, are aimed at generally the same people, so it is fair to compare the two, Opel and Volkswagen. In this comparison I will not include associated companies of the two, I will strictly focus only on the products that wear these brands logo.
Opel is a German automotive company, founded by Adam Opel, and has been building automobiles since 1899. It has been an important company in the European automotive market, and it still has a big share of the market. Among the competitors, is Volkswagen, a German automotive company, founded by Ferdinand Porsche in 1937.
